What counts as experience

Anything where you took responsibility and got something done: a capstone or group project, a club role, volunteering, tutoring, a family business, a small online shop, freelance work, or a part-time job. Each one shows skills like communication, organization, teamwork or using real tools.

What to lead with

Lead with what is most relevant to the job. For many first-time applicants that is education and projects, followed by any work or volunteer roles, then skills and tools. Keep it to one page and cut anything that does not help you get this specific job.

Make every line count

Describe what you did and what came of it. "Managed a $4,000 club budget" says more than "Treasurer". If you paste the job post into bumyre, it highlights the skills and keywords the employer cares about so you can show them honestly.

Will bumyre make up experience for me?

No. It only rewrites what you tell it, and points out requirements you do not meet yet instead of inventing them.

One page. Focus on the items most relevant to the job you are applying for.
